MR. CHRIS M. KALLIANOS: At Warren & Kallianos, we help clients in work injury cases by helping them understand what their rights and remedies are under the workers' compensation laws. MR. WARREN: The types of injuries that constitute a workers' compensation claim are many. The issue is--does the injury arise as a result of an accident? Accidents on a construction site can have enormous long-term consequences, particularly if it prevents the injured person from returning to the trade that they spent a lifetime learning.

MR. WARREN: It can also have enormous consequences if there's medical expenses in the future that have to be borne by the family or the injured person.
MR. KALLIANOS: Causes of construction work-related accidents include unsafe working conditions, improperly trained employees, or defective equipment or malfunctioning equipment.
