MR. CHRIS M. KALLIANOS: At Warren & Kallianos, we help clients in work injury cases by helping them understand what their rights and remedies are under the workers' compensation laws. We will then help them obtain all the compensation they're entitled to receive, including payment of medical bills and lost wages resulting from their injury.
MR. C. JEFF WARREN: The most common obstacles in a work comp case for our clients that we help them overcome are selection and choice of appropriate medical care providers, making sure they get the medical care they are entitled to, and wage loss because there's oftentimes a dispute over what the appropriate average weekly wage is.

MR. WARREN: The types of injuries that constitute a workers' compensation claim are many. The issue is--does the injury arise as a result of an accident? Accidents on a construction site can have enormous long-term consequences, particularly if it prevents the injured person from returning to the trade that they spent a lifetime learning.

MR. WARREN: It can also have enormous consequences if there's medical expenses in the future that have to be borne by the family or the injured person.
MR. KALLIANOS: Causes of construction work-related accidents include unsafe working conditions, improperly trained employees, or defective equipment or malfunctioning equipment.
MR. WARREN: If you've invested a lifetime in learning a trade and you can't perform that trade because of a permanent injury you sustained, then you need to have a competent attorney to make sure you get the compensation you're entitled to under the law.
